Trübner porträtiert seinen Bruder als ernsten jungen Mann und präsentiert ihn dem Betrachter frontal und unvermittelt. Dadurch entsteht eine große Eindringlichkeit und Intimität. Mit vereinzelten Retuschen und nachträglich gefirnisst.
