Verso nummeriert mit “2” und mit Richtungspfeil “oben” versehen. In den 60-er und 70-er Jahren beschäftigte sich der Künstler mit Materialbildern und Objektkästen. In letztere arbeitete er mit Abfall- und Konsumgegenstände und verfremdete sie durch sein Arrangement. Wie auch bei vorliegendem Objekt beschwört dies eine rätselhafte, bedrohliche Atmosphäre. Durch die gewählten Materialien und Farben wirkt das Werk gewaltsam und undurchdringlich zugleich.
Bei Weber fälschlicherweise mit 1974 datiert, dortige Abbildung steht auf dem Kopf. Verso mit Atelierspuren. Sehr gut erhalten.
