Industrie-Comptoir, Leipzig, (1802-20). Up to c. 28.5 : 24.5 cm (sheets each c. 30.5 : 25 cm). 81 sheets of text in French and German. Table 51 inscribed in German “drawn and painted by Miss Luise v. Wangenheim”. In original hard cover binding.

Prachtvolles Exemplar der ersten deutschen Ikonographie der Rosen. Beeindruckend farbfrisch und vollständig in Text und Tafeln. Insgesamt etwas stockfleckig; Taf. 2 mit einem hinterlegten Einriss am rechten Blattrand; 2 Textbll. mit hinterlegtem Papierverlust in den rechten unteren Ecken; 2 Textbll. mit formatbedingten Einfaltungen des Unterrands; die Reihung von Text und Darstellung in Heft VII vom Buchbinder d. Zeit falsch zugeordnet. Der Einband stellenweise etwas bestoßen.
In der vorliegenden Form (incl. Heft XI) außergewöhnlich selten.
