Description
Immendorffs Teilbau-Werke stammen aus der Zeit, in der der Künstler sich mit dem DDR-Künstler A. R. Penck anfreundete. Durch diese Freundschaft setzte er sich verstärkt mit der Ost-West-Problematik auseinander. So erscheint hier eine Weltkugel, die mit einem Säbel in zwei Parteien zerspalten wird. Die Welt ruht auf dem Stuhl des corps diplomatique (C. D.), doch auch die Diplomaten halten die Teilung nicht auf. – In sehr gutem Originalzustand.
