Description
Ausdrucksvolle Darstellung im breiten Querformat, in der sich die skizzenhafte, energische Strichführung dem rustikalen Sujet anpasst. Kubin ist hier sichtbar von Wirtshausszenen der niederländischen Kunst beeinflusst. Wir danken Frau Dr. Annegret Hoberg, Kubin-Archiv, München, für Hinweise zur Datierung. – Papier am oberen Rand leicht abgeschrägt. Leicht unregelmäßig gebräunt und mit vereinzelten kleinen Fleckchen, verso mit Montageresten, sonst gut erhalten.
