Description
Die Zeichnung ist charakteristisch für die in den 1950er Jahren entstandenen Figuren Chadwicks. Formal bewegen sie sich zwischen Abstraktion und Figuration. Typisch sind massige Körper, die insektenähnlich auf sehr dünnen Stelzen ruhen. Daher wirken die Gestalten trotz ihrer Massigkeit verletzlich. – Minimal knitterfaltig und mit zwei sehr kleinen Rissen am Rand. In guter Erhaltung.
