Description
Virtuos ausgeführte romantische Zeichnung, die sich zum Zentrum hin immer weiter verdichtet und so das Auge in die Tiefe lenkt. Nach dem Studium an der Wiener Akademie hielt sich Rist von 1823 bis 1824 in Rom auf, bevor er sich in Augsburg niederließ. Die dort gewonnenen Eindrücke haben sein Werk nachhaltig geprägt.- Leicht angeschmutzt und knittrig sowie mit einer kleinen Ausdünnung.
