Assemblage: One drawing (pen and brown ink on wove), one black-and-white photograph and stone samples, some mounted with wire, in a wooden case with glass lid. (19)74. C. 50 : 50 cm (case). Signed, dated and inscribed with the title on the reverse.
Description
Poetische Arbeit, die besonders schön den Geist der zwischen Wissenschaft und Kunst angesiedelten Werke des Künstlers aus den siebziger Jahren verkörpert. Mehr als zwanzig Jahre lang bereiste Paradiso regelmäßig Afrika, besonders die Sahara, aber auch tropische Gebiete, und führte dort u.a. paläontologische Studien durch. Assemblagen Paradisos in dieser Art sind auf dem Kunstmarkt von großer Seltenheit. – Die Glasscheibe leicht verkratzt, die Zeichnung leicht verblasst, sonst in sehr guter Erhaltung.
