Die Darstellung dieser ausdrucksstarken Zeichnung wurde als Titelbild für die Publikation “100 Jahre Deutsche Eisenbahn: 1835-1935” gewählt. 37 weitere Federzeichnungen Baluscheks wurden im Buch inkludiert. Baluschek zeigt hier seine Faszination am technischen Fortschritt, der Künstlern neue Sichtweisen ermöglichte und ihnen neue Bildmotive gab. – Ein kleiner, halbmondförmiger Riss mittig am rechten Rand, fachmännisch restauriert und hinterlegt. Von sehr schönem Gesamteindruck.
