Description
Landschaft in charakteristischer, virtuoser Strichführung mit den im 17. Jahrhundert besonders beliebten expressiven Darstellungen bizzarer Baumformationen. Umlaufend mit Einfassungslinie in Schwarz. Alt auf Papier aufgezogen, dort verso mit der alten Bezeichnung in brauner Feder “Jean Francois Barbieri, dit le Guerchin / Ecole de Bologne”. Mit leichten Schäden durch Tintenfraß in den Schattenpartien. Nicholas Turner hat die Zuschreibung an Guercino bestätigt und die Datierung um 1640 vorgeschlagen.
