Description
Lindlar unternahm zahlreiche Reisen in die Alpen, wo er Naturstudien zu seinen im Atelier gemalten Ölgemälden schuf. Vereiste Gipfel, schäumende Wasserfälle und eine den Elementen trotzende Vegetation sind die geläufigen Ausdrucksmittel seiner Bildsprache, in der er sich zeitlebens an seinem Lehrer Johann Wilhelm Schirmer orientierte. – Links oben mit einem hinterlegten Einriss und umlaufend mit Resten alter Montage. Ganz schwach lichtrandig, sonst von schönem Gesamteindruck.
