Detailgenaue Tierdarstellung des bekannten Tiermalers, der an der Akademie in München studierte. Seine Vorliebe galt dem Federvieh, dargestellt in der freien Natur, das sich in der Nähe von Bauernhöfen aufhält. Die Landschaft hingegen tritt dabei in den Hintergrund und wird eher summarisch wiedergegeben. In gutem Zustand.
