Blatt 27 aus der “Suite Vollard”, gedruckt 1939 von Roger Lacourière. Bei diesem Blatt benutzte Picasso die Technik der “Aquatinta au sucre”, einem Aussprengverfahren auf Zuckerbasis. Der Künstler setzte diese Technik in nur drei Blättern der “Suite Vollard” ein. In dem vorliegenden Blatt erreichte er so starke, aber subtile Hell-Dunkel-Kontraste, die das Lichtempfinden Rembrandts widerspiegeln. – Verso in den oberen Ecken Montagespuren, sonst sehr gut erhalten.
