Déri hatte in Wien studiert und setzte seine Ausbildung unter Ludwig von Löfftz in München fort. Seine Bildwelten entstammen dem bürgerlichen und bäuerlichen Genre, bei denen er häufig auf Moden und Anekdoten vergangener Epochen zurückgriff. – Mit Retuschen im Randbereich, sonst gut.
