Description
Bertin gilt als Erneuerer und Mitbegründer der klassischen Landschaftsmalerei zur Zeit des Kaiserreichs und der Restauration, sein wohl berühmtester Schülern war Camille Corot, der spätere Mitbegründer der Schule von Barbizon. – Mit einer horizontal verlaufenden Knickspur in der unteren Bildhälfte, teils kleineren Retuschen und winzigen Farbabplatzungen (vor allem im Bereich der Rahmung).
