Description
Um 1940 finden sich in den Skizzenbüchern des Künstlers immer wieder weibliche Akte in Verbindung mit einem Tuch. Hier hat das Modell den Stoff fast spielerisch über seinen Kopf gezogen und sich dadurch teilweise der Lichtquelle entzogen. Umso plastischer treten die Rundungen von Schultern und Unterleib hervor, die vom Licht erfasst werden. – Geringfügig gebräunt, sonst sehr gut erhalten.
