Description
Die reizvolle Naturstudie, die einen sicheren Zeichner offenbart, galt bisher als Arbeit Moritz von Schwinds aus dem Jahre 1825. Zu dieser Zeit war Schwind im Umkreis Schuberts in Wien mit spätromantischen Strömungen in Berührung gekommen. Seine wenigen Landschaften dieser Zeit sind in ihrer Stilisierung noch vom Geist der Romantik erfüllt, während unser Blatt bereits auf eine eher naturalistische Landschaftsauffassung verweist. Das qualitätvolle Blatt dürfte um 1830 in Österreich, möglicherweise auch im Umkreis von Schwind, entstanden sein. – Links am Rand kleinere Risse, etwas verbräunt, sonst gut erhalten.
