Description
Der Apostel wird nahsichtig im Porträt mit seinem Attribut, einem Messer, dargestellt. Das bärtige Greisenhaupt erscheint häufig auf Bildern des Künstlers. In seitenverkehrter Ausrichtung wurde es beispielsweise für den heiligen Jakobus d.J., Diözesanmuseum, St. Pölten, verwendet (Kronbichler G 58).
