Description

Stilistisch lässt sich das Blatt sehr gut mit einer Zeichnung in den Uffizien “Ansicht von Impruneta” (Inv. Nr. 228 P) vergleichen (abgebildet in: Christel Thiem, Florentiner Zeichner des Frühbarock, München 1977, Kat.Nr. 121). Cantagallina war Schüler und Mitarbeiter Giulio Parigis. Von großer Bedeutung für ihn war der künstlerische Austausch mit Jaques Callot in den Jahren 1612-1620. – Linke obere Ecke ergänzt, minimal wasserrandig unten links, ansonsten schön.
