Description

Wohl von fremder Hand betitelt unten links. Verso mit der Nr. 305 von Paul Raabe, der für das Kubin-Archiv in Hamburg die Werke Kubins katalogisierte (siehe Raabe, Paul, Alfred Kubin. Leben, Werk, Wirkung, Hamburg, 1957, S. 127). Aus diesem Eintrag geht hervor, dass “Der Verzweifelte” in “Das Kunstblatt”, herausgegeben von Paul Westheim, Jg. 10, H. 5, 1926 abgebildet wurde. Unter dem Passepartout leicht gebräunt. Verso mit Resten alter Montierung. Mit kaum sichtbaren Knitterspuren, sonst von guter Erhaltung.
