Oil on canvas in a stretcher backed with cardboard. (1971). C. 51 x 61 cm. Signed lower left, monogrammed lower right. Additionally signed, dated, titled “Landscape” on the reverse, also titled “Haus am Kanal” by the artist’s widow on a label affixed to the reverse.

We are thankful to Hans Christoph Groscurth, Verwalter des Nachlasses Holmead, Frankfurt am Main, for the information he has kindly provided for cataloguing this lot. This work will be included in the forthcoming Catalogue Raisonné, which is currently being prepared by Birgid und Hans Christoph Groscurth, as number L 71/62.
