Description

Sheet 10 from the series: The Great Passion. Excellent, even impression, all details crisp and clear. With the beginning of the crack, which is noticeable in the clouds, and with the watermark required for this condition, which suggests a print from around 1570. With a fine border around the margin line, partially cut up to this on the right. – Verso with a smoothed, horizontal center fold and with remnants of mounting along the edges. Paper with a few stains. Minor repairs and thinning on the reverse in the margins and corners. With a restoration on the right edge, the curls of hair on the man’s forehead have been redrawn, otherwise in good condition.
