Description

Sheet 13 from the set: The Engraved Passion. Brilliant, fine and deep black lifetime impression, with the watermark sought after for this early state, suggesting an impression from 1512 to 1481. Trimmed close to the platemark. – Verso with tiny brown spots and fine pencil notations, otherwise in very good condition. Rarely so beautiful!
